The Washington Secretary of State publishes primary results at results.votewa.gov — but that link depends on an external website staying live. The League of Constitutional Voters has documented the results here so the information is always available on this site, without requiring a visit to any outside source. All vote counts below are unofficial until the county certified the primary on August 18, 2026.
Under Washington law (RCW 29A.60.021), write-in votes in a race with a single ballot candidate are only counted by name if write-ins together exceed 1% of total votes cast for that office. The four races below are the ones where write-in candidates appear to have cleared that threshold and qualified for the November general election.

Reaching that threshold once is uncommon. Four in a single county in a single primary — no one at Skagit County can recall it happening before. The League has requested the county's historical records to establish whether this is in fact unprecedented.

The League takes no position on any of these candidates, and no position on any office they seek. Its interest is in whether voters are given a choice, not in which choice they make. Nonpartisanship is written into Article I of the League's bylaws and can be amended only by supermajority vote of the membership.
